27 more days!

I can't believe I have 27 more days left! I never thought it would come this soon! I was so excited that last night I stayed up washing baby clothes and sorting through the other ones. Claire has so many baby clothes that I am not even sure she will be able to wear all of them! Around 11pm I got the itch to put up the pack and play- more like I wanted to watch Jeff do it. Like a trooper, he put the pack and play together for me and it really turned out cute! I love the pattern, but my favorite part are the hanging giraffes! Too cute!
This weekend, we're planning on over hauling much of our downstairs and today I am going to look at some places for carpet. Our plan is to replace our carpet in the downstairs and our bedroom upstairs. Thank goodness too because our carpet looks horrible! While I'm out today, I want to try and find a chair that I can reupholster- that's going to be my new thing. I figure I better start learning before Claire gets here and school starts.

Last night I went to dinner with Emily Dickerson. It was so wonderful to see her again! Plus, the food was super yummy- I recommend the vegan blackbean burger from Marlows. Great company and great food... it was a great evening!
