We got a brand new Canon Rebel xsi camera and it takes the sharpest pics ever! We also got a telephoto lense so I can't wait to take it to Tech games and get great pics of the team and Jon Dwyer!
I am starting to go crazy from lack of sleep. It's very uncomfortable to sleep at night so I lay awake thinking about everything. I felt pretty guilty about sleeping in and napping for a few weeks, but truthfully I don't anymore because I know as soon as Claire gets here, I will be sleep deprived. So now, I wake up in the morning, eat, take puppy outside and then I'll nap again. Sometimes I may take two naps in a day! It's quite lovely! People keep saying, "You better [insert activity] now because you won't be able to do anything when the baby gets here." So, I'm really trying to take that advice in and do things I want to do and Jeff needs to do things he wants to do before the baby comes. Jeff played golf 4 times in one week last week! But I was okay with it because he'll be with me and the baby non-stop in a few weeks.
I met Claire's pediatrician today and it made me feel so much better about everything! She was very sweet, practical, and I loved how young she is. She has two kids who are still toddlers, so it was nice to hear her talk about her kids and using non-medicinal techniques to treat her baby's symptoms!
I figure in two weeks (37 weeks) I'll pack my bags and get ready to go to the hospital. Makes me nervous to think that at any moment she can be here! It's a cool feeling, but I'm also very nervous. I'm glad I have my family who can help me through this so that I don't go crazy!!
