And the countdown begins!

During a phone conversation with one of my best friends (EClare), I was reminded me that Claire would be here in 30 days! 30 days seems like a lot, but it really isn't!! I think I have everything I need... but it seems like the more I talk to people, the more I have to add on my list. Thankfully, my Sister in law, Ardis, gave me a bunch of stuff this weekend and tutorials on how to use it. Now it's just the finishing touches on her room, packing for the hospital, organizing, and lots of waiting. My doctor told me in my last visit that Claire will definitely be an August baby. Yay for August, but I was sure he was going to tell me that I was like 5 cm dilated! Instead, I learned that I am about negative 7 cm dilated and that Claire has gone north! So my plan for an early birth is completely out the window.

This past sunday, Jeff went golfing with a friend and his Dad. I got to have Lussier women time and it was exactly what I needed to get me out of my grouchy mood! We went to Goodwill and I got the pleasure of sitting next to Era in the car. Here are some cute pics of her...

My favorite is the bottom right because she fell asleep and her head was almost in her lap! Didn't matter how many times I kept pushing it up! This little chick is so much fun!

On saturday night, I went over to Jana/Courtney/Katie's house for a suprise going away party for Kelly! It was so much fun hanging with them and I got to catch up on all the latest juicy "news." I miss being in college and living right down the hall from these girls... it was so much fun! Now we're all big kids now and I'm not sure if I quite like it! I sure did miss Teresa, who was in Texas for a wedding. I'm going to miss both Kelly and Teresa... they've only got a couple weeks left! I'm excited about the going away dinner party in Vinings!

On a final thought, I've been so much busier this summer that I thought I would be! Between cheerleading, working, and getting ready for Claire, I haven't had much time to just sit around and be. I thought for sure I'd be floating all day long in a pool somewhere, but I haven't had the time to. I do want to purchase some furniture for my living room and sitting room- and even looking as become annoying! Sometimes I want to do french country, sometimes I want to do a little more modern. At any rate, I don't have much time left so I plan on completing some house projects ASAP! I have huge plans for next summer- the pool (for real) and Camp Lussier with Era and Ardis! It'll be fun!
