Lazy Days

I'm loving the lazy days with Claire! Having Jeff home has been very helpful and we're slowly accomplishing things around the house. My birthday is August 1st (this saturday) and my birthday present from Jeff came today! He got me a pink iPod nano and on the back he got the phrase "To the wonderful mother of Claire Parker Lussier" engraved on it! How sweet is that! The picture of it is below- you can't really make it out, but you get the point.

We were a little nervous about how Maddux would react to Claire since he's been an only child. The first day he didn't really go around her, but later that night he would be so concerned every time she cried! At one point, he got his favorite tire, jumped on the bed, and laid it next to her! So cute! He also licks her feet when she's upset. Here's a picture of Maddux "sniffing" out the siutation. He's the best dirty diaper detector ever!

Today was Claire's first bath! After the bath, we dressed her up in her first pair of pj's! Here she is taking a snooze after eating.

This is one of her favorite spots to snooze... on her daddy's tummy. Put her here and she will be out for hours!

Today I caught Claire sucking her thumb. It was so cute! Everyday being a mother is getting better and easier. I love learning new things about her everyday!
